The exhibition "Antiquities of our region" presents the history of the Kaliningrad Region from ancient times to the middle of the XII century. It consistently shows the main periods of the history of human development from the Paleolithic to the Iron Age. Visitors are given the opportunity to get acquainted with authentic archaeological objects of that time.
The exhibition "History of the city of Gumbinnen of the late XVIII-early XX centuries" tells about the foundation and development of the city of Gumbinnen, which grew from a small village to the main city of a fairly extensive district. All information about the formation and development of the city is presented not only with rich text, but also with visual and exposition material.
The exhibition "Great and Forgotten in 3D" is dedicated to the history of the First World War and the Battle of Gumbinnen-Goldap. The exhibition is built on a modular principle. Each module covers aspects of the war and uses various techniques of emotional and psychological impact, aimed at ensuring the involvement of the visitor in the course of the tour. The exhibition segments are designed in the form of a full-size replica of a camping tent, a fragment of the battlefield for the Prussian farm, a fragment of a Prussian house with the "Great War in 3D" complex installed in it. The complex is a three-dimensional 3D visualization of stereoscopic photographs that represent scenes from military life during the First World War.
The exhibition "Room of a citizen of the 20-30s of the twentieth century" is a retro photo studio. In the interior of the room, each visitor is given the opportunity to plunge into the atmosphere of life of a city resident of Gumbinnen. The interactive element of the exhibition is the process of transforming the visitor to the resident beginning the 20-30-ies of XX century, using replicas of authentic historical costumes and photo shoots on memory.
The exhibition "Gumbinnen 1944-1945" is dedicated to the East Prussian operation during the Great Patriotic War. Visitors will not only be able to see details of military equipment, uniforms and equipment of the Red Army and the German Fascist troops, but also get acquainted with rare photo sources from private collections and the museum's collection, as well as an object series that quite colorfully illustrates the events of the Great Patriotic War. The presentation of images in 3D format, the presence of information screens and projection technologies in the exhibition maximally meets the needs of visitors in forming an imaginative perception of the history of the Great Patriotic War. Segments of the exhibition are decorated in the form of fragments of the wall of the destroyed city, a street battle on the territory of Gumbinnen, a bunker-shelter, as well as showcases with weapons, equipment and installations of the Gumbinnen Breakthrough complex.
In the exhibition "Soviet Period", the viewer is presented with a chronicle of the main events of the formation and development of the city of Gusev and Gusevsky district from 1946 to 2000. Interesting are not only the exhibits handed over to the museum by the first settlers, but also samples of products of city-forming enterprises, household items of the Soviet era, etc.

Gusevsky Museum of Local History was founded on December 1, 1992, under the leadership of local historian-teacher of history and geography Alexander Mikhailovich Ivanov. Currently, the museum bears the name of its initiator of the foundation, a knight of the Order of the Badge of Honor, a participant in the defense of Leningrad. It is located in the identified object of cultural heritage - a building of the late XIX century (the former officer's casino). The historical and local history direction is fundamental from the first days of the institution's existence and covers the periods from ancient times to the end of the twentieth century, reflecting the history of local lands.

"Oleg Videnin. Photos " exhibition of works by Oleg Videnin. The pictures of the exhibition are black-and-white portraits of "people from the outskirts", this is the author's observation of the surrounding world, human life — everything that is close, that excites, inspires. Oleg's work is a search for the line between street and studio photography, between artistic and documentary approaches.
"Post - ..." exhibition of works by Dmitry Vyshemirsky. This is a reflection on the cultural landscape of the Kaliningrad region, a territory where Russian reality coexists with the cultural and historical heritage of East Prussia.
"Easel Photography XXI" is a joint project of Mikhail Kalamkarov, Maxim Zheleznyakov, Ekaterina Kiryanova and Alexander Ov-Lebedev. these are unique author's works that represent the face and handwriting of the master, his unique personality and, as a rule, are inaccessible to replication and literal reproduction. Photos are made in various techniques: cyanotype, oil, gelatin-silver printing or archival pigment.
